Very recently we have made a documentary - "... And Fury Flows" - a documentary on the life and living along the river Meghna.
Synopsis of "... And Fury Flows": Meghna is the widest and the deepest river in Bangladesh. It is 667 km long. For the capacity of carrying water it is considered the third largest river in the world after the Amazon and the Congo. Life and living on the river and on its banks are truly diverse and varied. Meghna provides a lifeline for the economy of Bangladesh. It is a rich repository of many species and varieties of fish. Methods of fishing are also varied. The variety of colourful sail-boats makes Meghna very wonderful. Its scenic beauty! is unique. But Meghna has a devastating nature. It washes away lot of areas every year turning a huge number of people homeless. The dual nature of Meghna is thus well depicted in the film.
